Battle with Prophet Rap
Contest Update

The 2101 Records Battle with Prophet rap contest came to a close yesterday, but there is still time for those who have entered to influence the judging. We are starting to review entries, and it will take a few days, so those who entered can still get more listens and ratings before we pick our finalists.

 

All submitted raps are being reviewed for total number of listens, 5-mic ratings, overall rating, lyrics and style. We are also checking that user profiles are complete and that contest requirements are met. The top 10 raps will make it to the final judging and then we will have Prophet himself pick the top 5 winners!

 

FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ENTERED – THERE IS STILL TIME TO INFLUENCE THE JUDGES

 

Here is what you need to do NOW:

1) Get your friends to listen to and rate your rap – the more listens and the higher ratings, the better your chance of making it to the finals.

2) Share your raps on Facebook and Twitter – the more friends you get to rate you, the better your chance to win.

3) Complete your Profile: in the Rap Wars app, go to Settings – Update Profile and upload your best rapper photo.

 

We will email every rapper who has entered, provided we have your info, to let you know who the winners are.

 

We are also going to publish the winners on the Rap Wars Site, Facebook, Twitter , and Google+. If you win, you could be famous!

    youve sent out mass emails to people telling them they are all finalists. Is that supposed to be a joke?

    2 weeks ago we went through all submissions and filtered out raps that were not that good, this was the first pass and that was the email we sent out – only about 250 people made it through the first cut and got emails. We sent that out only once. Since then we have narrowed it down to the top 20 and then top 5. If you were in any of those groups you then got another email since people were contacting us to know the status of the contest. We now have the top 5 finalists in review with 2101 records, and if you were among those you would have received an email to that effect.

    I just found this app! From what I’ve heard, I believe my challenge rap to Prophet was THE BEST, unfortunately I submitted it last night March 1st, please take it into consideration! My user name is LatinaLingo ! Please listen to my battle rap sent to challenge Prophet, it’s called : ” Your Dead Meat “! You will not be sorry, I promise it will not be a waste of your time!
